Initially, Victon used to perform under Plan A Entertainment until it merged and has now become Play M Entertainment. The band signed with Plan A Entertainment in 2016, three years before the merger. It is one of two bands signed to Play M Entertainment and the only all-boys band signed to the label.

The eldest of the Victon band is Seungwoo, he was born on December 24, 1994, in Busan, South Korea. His birth name is Hun Seung Woo.
