Adam Carolla is an American comedian, radio-television personality, podcast host, actor, film director, and best-selling author. He is well-known as the host of the popular podcast The Adam Carolla Show, which made the Guinness World Records in 2011 as the “most downloaded podcast” of the year.

Adam Carolla was born on May 27, 1964, in Los Angeles County, California. He grew up in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and later, his family moved back to the North Hollywood neighborhood of Los Angeles. Adam Carolla had his early education at Colfax Elementary School. For his high school education, he studied at Walter Reed Junior High and North Hollywood High School. Upon graduation, his high school diploma was withheld for several years by the school management pending the payment of a library fine.
Growing up, Carolla was faced with a lot of challenges on the home front and as a means of escape, he got deeply involved in sports. He eventually left home at the age of 18 to go start up his own life. He initially enrolled at the Los Angeles Valley College, however, he dropped out after a few years.
