You probably know her as Alexi Ashe Meyers, wife of popular comedian and TV host Seth Meyers, however, before becoming the wife of the popular funnyman, she had already built a career of her own.
Seth Meyers is the host of the NBC night talk show Late Night with Seth Meyers. He first got into the spotlight as the Emmy-winning head writer of Saturday night live and later as the host of the Weekend Update segment of the show. Unlike her comedian husband Seth who lives for the spotlight, Alexi Ashe doesn’t fancy all the attention.
She is a human rights lawyer and has always been passionate about issues that affect women. Her job involves the provision of legal aid to victims of abuse from various parts of the world.

Alexi Ashe was born in 1983 in New Mexico, United States. Her parents are Tom and Joan Ashe. She was raised alongside her sisters Tom and Joan Ashe. There is no information regarding her early education. Alexi Ashe had her higher education at Occidental College and Southwestern University School of Law.
As an attorney, Ashe has always had a passion for the protection of human rights. During her spell in law school, she served as a legal intern with Human Rights First, researching protection protocol for victims of abuse and refugees.
Upon graduation, she worked in the Family and Crime Prevention and Youth Protection Unit of the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office. After that, she joined the King’s County District Attorney in Brooklyn as an assistant D.A. assigned to the Special Victims and Human Trafficking Bureau.
She is also a staff attorney with Sanctuary for Families, a Newyork-based non-profit which caters to the needs of victims of all forms of abuse. She offers pro bono services to victims of trafficking and domestic violence all around the world. She also co-chairs the New York State Anti-Trafficking Coalition. Apparently, she’s destined for greater heights and the future is looking very bright for her in her noble career.
Family
Ever since they got married in 2013, Alexi and Seth Meyers have had a blissful relationship. Ironically, the couple at whose wedding ceremony they met is no longer together. However, the Meyers have kept the fire of their marriage burning over the years.
The couple has one child together and they are already expecting another in 2018. They welcomed their first son Ashe Olsen Meyers on March 27, 2016.
Seth Meyers announced that they were expecting their second child on the Thanksgiving episode of Late Night in November 2017. The expectant father was so thrilled about the news that he brought his parents and brother on the show that day.

Unfortunately, Alexi suffered food poisoning from a bad oyster during their rehearsal dinner and had to be rushed to the hospital. Quite a rough start to what has blossomed into a beautiful union.
