Amy Rutberg is a talented American actress who garnered fame through her impressive onscreen performances both in movies and TV series. She came into the limelight through her appearance in the Netflix thriller series, Daredevil. There, she played the recurring role of Marci Stahl from 2015 to 2018. She made her onscreen debut with a guest role in the American crime drama series Pacific Blue in 1997.

The Daredevil star was born as Amy Lauren Ruth Rutberg to American parents on the 11th day of November 1981. Her birth took place in Los Angeles, California, and she belongs to the white ethnic background. Growing up, Rutberg spent her formative years in the City of Los Angeles where she completed her basic and higher education. As a child, Amy developed an affinity for acting after watching the Broadway production of Peter Pan. In a bid to hone her skills, she started appearing in various plays that were organized in her school.

Soon after she finished her high school education, Amy Rutberg enrolled at Citrus College where she spent just one year before transferring to the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Although she was studying law, Amy’s undying passion for acting led her to acquire an agent when she turned seventeen. After her graduation, she kicked off her acting career.

This thespian started her career in theatre soon after her graduation from UCLA in 1997. She first made an appearance in the production of a musical comedy titled Perfect Harmony at the Clurman Theatre, New York City. Three years later, she played the role of a Soldier’s Wife, in the 2000 touring show, The Civil War.

After the touring show in the year 2000, Amy Rutberg didn’t make any more appearances on television until 2005 when she guest-starred in an episode of Everwood, playing the role of Sarah. After that, she portrayed the role of a nurse in the TV drama series, As the World Turns in 2006. Rutberg also made guest appearances in other series including Law & Order, Recount, Murder in Manhattan, The Actress, The Good Wife, and Alpha House, among others.

She got her breakthrough in 2015 when she joined the cast of the Netflix series, Daredevil. There, she played the recurring role of Marci Stahl alongside , , and Stephen Rider, among others. The show which premiered on Netflix in 2015 was abruptly canceled at the end of the third season in October 2018. However, it was announced that streaming services will revive the series subsequently.
