She was supposed to work on the show for two weeks but because of her keen interest in it, she managed to prolong her stay. In an interview with Forbes, she revealed that her love for the show was basically because it gave her the opportunity to air her views and not just follow a robotic manner of presenting news.
The talented journalist became the writer for Raw Story in 2015 and in addition to her journalism career, she is also a Professor and Lecturer at California State University, Northridge where she gives lectures on broadcast journalism.
