Ben Smith-Petersen is a rising actor and professional stuntman. Although he is a celebrity in his own right, he is best known for being the husband of popular American actress Danielle Riley Keough.

Ben Smith-Petersen is an Australian stunt coordinator, actor, and musician. He was born and raised in Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Since when he was a kid, Ben had always loved trying different stunt moves and this prompted him to choose a career in art. He started practicing stunt moves when he was 14.

The first stunt move Ben learned was the flying trapeze. The stunt move was introduced to him by a friend of his mother. He saw how others performed the move and liked it. He then made sure he learned the move. His passion for stunts made him join Circus Arts Australia. It was there that he learned to perform the flying trapeze, as well as other stunt moves. Ben perfected the flying trapeze move and began to teach other kids how to do the move.

It was at Circus Arts Australia that Ben began to work in movies. At the circus, he had a coordinator who offered him film jobs. Soon after he started receiving offers to work on films, he stopped working at the circus.

The first movie contract Ben Smith-Petersen received to work as a stuntman was The Great Gatsby, an American romantic drama film that was adapted from a novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald. Since his first film job, Ben has gone on to work in a good number of prestigious movies.

As an actor, Ben has mostly featured in some short films such as Brawl, AgentE7685and Mad Max: Fury Road. He is also an aspiring musician and he sang in SandPaper, and also appeared in the song’s music video in 2013.

Family Life 

Not much is known about Ben’s parents and siblings if he has any. Ben’s family known to us are his wife and his wife’s family. Ben Smith-Petersen is married to Riley Keough. The couple first met on the set of Mad Max: Fury Road, where Riley starred in Capable, and Ben was cast as Coma the Door Warrior and also worked as a stuntman in the film. The beautiful couple started dating soon after they met on set and they both got engaged on August 14, 2014. Shortly after, they announced their engagement via social media, making it Riley’s second engagement in two years, after being previously engaged to actor Alex Pettyfer, back in 2012 and they broke up the engagement in the same year. Riley and Ben then took to the altar to exchange marriage vows on February 4, 2015. Their wedding took place in Nepa, California.

Riley Keough is an American actress, as well as a model and producer. She was born Danielle Riley Keough on May 29, 1989, in Santa Monica, California. She is the daughter of Danny Keough and Lisa Presley. Her father is a late American musician. Riley’s mother, Lisa Presley, is an American singer-songwriter. Riley’s maternal grandparents are Elvis Aaron Presley and Priscilla Ann Presley. Her grandfather, Elvis Presley was known as “King of Rock and Roll”, while her grandmother, Priscilla Presley is an American businesswoman and actress.

Ben Smith-Petersen’s wife, Riley Keough is famous for her role in The Girlfriend Experience, where she was cast as the lead character in the TV series as Christine Reade, a law student intern who secretly works as an escort. Her role in the TV series got her a Golden Globe Awards nomination for “Best Actress, Limited TV Series or TV Movie”. For her role in The Girlfriend Experience, she won the award for “Actress in a Leading Role – Made for TV Movie or Limited Series”, at the 2017 Grace Awards.
