Cushman has since set up a burlesque academy which she calls the Dannie Diesel’s Bump ‘n’ Grind Academy.

Apart from burlesque dancing, the multifaceted lady has ventured into the world of fashion. In 2012, she opened the retro clothing company called 4 Miles 2 Memphis where she was reportedly responsible for designing and sewing most of the clothes.
