She was born on the 24th of February 1974 in Brooklyn New York City. She is of American nationality and White ethnicity. Very little is known about her childhood as she rarely talks about her past. However, she once revealed that even as a child, she noticed she had quite the talent for singing as well as acting as she noticed the smile on her face whenever she was doing either of the two. She had her high school education at Poly Preps Country Day School in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. At the time, her love for acting drove her into becoming a regular at school plays, thereby making her a star pupil. Upon graduation from high school, she attended the Boston College, Massachusetts where she majored in Musical Theatre.

How this got to be isn’t quite clear but according to her, she was spotted at a bar by a modelling agent who offered her a contract which eventually led her to model for top fashion brands in the USA and some parts of Europe. In 1996, Bonnie made her screen debut with her appearing as an extra in the movie titled City Hall. Shortly after that, she had her first major movie role in the CBS Series Shake, Rattle and Roll: An American Love Story in 1999 with her playing the character of Lyne Danner. Her big break finally came in 2002 when she was cast to play the role of Ross Geller’s girlfriend Mona in season 8 of the Hit American Television Sitcom, Friends. In 2005, she appeared in the final season of hit crime series NYPD Blue in which she played the character of Detective Laura Murphy.
