The tank manufacturing business which is more like a family venture has a reality TV show dubbed Tanked, where Brett Raymer and his crew share their adventures with different kinds of tanks. They have built tanks for celebrities like Tracy Morgan and David Hasselhoff who both appeared on the show.
Who Is Brett Raymer?
Brett Raymer is a reality television star known for the Animal Planet show, Tanked. He is also a businessman who works hard as the COO of his tank manufacturing company, Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, in addition to other business ventures. The tank expert was born on 25th October 1969, in Brooklyn, New York City, USA.
His parents’ identities have not been made public but Brett has a sister named Heather and she is married to his business partner Wayde King. During his days at Abraham Lincoln High School, Brett was active in athletics. He played many sports at the time, including tennis, football, as well as swimming. Among his sporting activities, football was the most prominent which he continued playing when he enrolled for college at the State University of New York, Stony Brook. He could have been a professional football player if he hadn’t suffered an injury that made him seek other career options. He only played football for two years in college before he quit to enable him to get his degree in Liberal Arts.
When football was no longer a career option, Brett and his friend Wayde teamed up to form a company. With the slogan “If you can dream it, we can build it” (coined by Brett), the duo set up what would become one of the most popular tank companies in the US. Acrylic Tank Manufacturing is a company that constructs fish tanks and aquaria of all shapes and sizes. Brett Raymer is the COO of the company, a position he handles with poise, though his ambitious ideas and confidence in the jobs he believes they can pull off can sometimes be overwhelming.
Brett and Wayde did a good job with the company to the delight of their clients and soon, word reached producers of Animal Planet who offered them a wonderful opportunity to be the stars in the network’s new reality TV series, Tanked. The show features Brett and his co-workers as they build different kinds of tanks for high-profile clients and it always ends with much acclaim for a job well done.
Tanked first aired on the 7th of August in 2011 with a six-episode debut season that set the pace for more to come. The success of the first season saw an influx of high-profile clients, including Tracy Morgan, Bart Scott, Neil Patrick Harris, Dwayne Wayde, and Frank Marino. Tanked is now in the fifth season which has been airing since 2018.
Asides from the prominence he enjoys as a reality TV star, Brett Raymer is also doing well in other business ventures. He runs four Donut Mania restaurants.
Is Brett Currently Married or Divorced?
Brett Raymer used to be married to Melissa Bradford but the marriage didn’t work out. He is now a dad to two children; a son named Bryce and his sister Kayla whom he shares with his ex-wife Melissa. He got full custody of the children following their divorce and doesn’t spare anything to show love to them.
The reality TV star has since moved on with his love life and is now dating Trisha Marie Chamberlain. They began dating in 2011 and by October 2017, he popped the question and she said yes. The engaged couple runs Donut Mania together in addition to other endeavors.
