Bridgette Leann Wilson was born on September 25, 1973, she also grew up in Gold Beach, Oregon, a small coastal town in the United States. The former beauty queen has only one known sibling, a sister who goes by the name Tarcy Wilson. Their parents are Dale and Kathy Wilson. Bridgette attended Gold Beach High School and graduated in 1991. She was active in extra-curricular activities while she was in high school, participating in volleyball with the school’s team. Her interest in entertainment and showbiz led her in a different direction from sports.

One year before Bridgette graduated from high school, she registered and took part in the Miss Teen USA beauty pageant. She won the competition and was crowned queen in the final of the event which was held in Biloxi, Mississippi in 1990.
