BtoB is one of those K-Pop groups that have gained fame in most parts of the world. The South Korean 7-member boy band was formed under CUBE Entertainment in 2012 and since then, BtoB members have become famous in their home country of Korea before continuing to other parts of Asia and beyond with songs that are easy to resonate with. The band is made up of the following members; Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon and Sungjae.

1. Eunkwang
Born Seo Eun Kwang on November 22, 1990, he happens to be the oldest member of the band. He is also the main vocalist and one of the songwriters in the group. Before he became a member of the band, he trained to be a musician at the Modern Music Academy together with another band member, Changsub.
Although music is at the forefront of his career life, he has also had a stint on TV. Eunkwang has had roles in different musicals, including “Monte Cristo” and “Bachelor’s Vegetable Store”.
2. Sungjae
Sungjae is the youngest member of the band, as well as the tallest, he was born Yook Sung Jae in 1995. He is the lead vocalist in the band, as well as the face of the group and becomes the leader of the group whenever Eunkwang is not there. Before he joined the group, he was already good with acoustic guitar and bass.
He has also appeared in a number of films and TV shows including “Plus Nine Boys”, “Goblin,” and “School 2015: Who Are You.”
3. Ilhoon
His real name is Jung Il Hoon and he was born in 1994. Ilhoon is the main rapper and also the vocalist of the band. Among other things, he can also play the piano.
In 2018, he made his debut as a solo act with the album “Big Wave”. Nonetheless, he revealed that he also wants to be regarded for his acting skills as that is another career path he wants to take.
4. Minhyuk
When Eunkwang enlisted to serve in the military, Minhyuk became the leader of the band until he also enlisted. He was born Lee Min Hyuk in 1990 and is the band’s lead vocalist and singer.
He is one of the most versatile members of the band who is also into a number of other things including sports and acting.
5. Changsub
The singer was born Lee Chang-sub in 1991. Like others, he has been a member of the group since 2012. He also plays bass and guitar. For his education, the former skateboarder went to Howon University.
6. Peniel
Peniel is described as the weirdo in the group. He was born in 1993 in the United States where he was also brought up alongside a sister. He speaks French and Spanish, in addition to English and Korean.
He picked interest in music since he was a child and once trained under JPY Entertainment before going on to become the last member of BtoB. He plays acoustic guitar.
7. Hyunsik
He is the main dancer in the group and a lead vocalist. Hyunsik was born Im Hyun Sik in 1992 in South Korea where he was brought up with his older brother. He plays both the guitar and piano. Music has always been a part of Hyunsik as he grew up with a singer father, Im Jihoon.
Facts You Need To Know About BtoB
1. Because everyone in South Korea is expected to serve in the military for a specified period of time, some members of the group, Eunkwang, MinHyuk, and Changsub are all currently inactive as they are serving their country.
2. Eunkwang, Changsub, Hyunsik, and Sungjae became members of the first subunit of the group in 2016. The unit is known as BtoB Blue and released a single in 2018.
3. Since the formation of the group, it has released 3 albums Complete (2015), 24 / 7 (2016), and Brother Act (2017). It also has 12 Eps.
4. The group members were listed among the most popular artists at the Asia Artist Awards in 2016, taking the 7th spot. They have also won many awards, including 3 Golden Disc Awards from 10 nominations, 2 Korea Popular Music Awards, and 2 Seoul Music Awards.
5. Apart from making good music, the group is also known for philanthropy. They have donated millions to various groups and organizations, including the Jeonnam Fire Service, victims of the Pohang earthquake, and Juvenile Diabetes Association, among others.
