He Was Nicknamed “Bug” By His Mom

The name “Bug” with which Brandon is now addressed by friends and fans actually came from his mom.

His mother who worked at a daycare center had to take him to work with her and because she didn’t want other kids sitting on him, she made up a game that he was a “bug” and that if the kids sat on him they would smash him in pieces. Interestingly, this worked but this was not without a mark, the name has stuck with the young man ever since and wouldn’t go and he eventually adopted it as a “stage name”.

He played the lead as Scout Bozell in the 1998 film Safety Patrol. Hall was also in Disney’s Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves as Adam Szalinski.

Apart from child acting, Bug Hall appeared in several other films as a teenager. he was in the movie Skipped Parts, released in 2000. He starred alongside Lindsay Lohan and Brenda Song in Disney Channel’s original film Get a Clue released in 2002.
