He is an American footballer playing as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). Like his counterparts in sports, he started off playing football way back in high school, where he honed his skills at the early stages of his teenage years before moving to the University of Iowa for a collegiate career. The 49ers later drafted him in the third round of the NFL Draft in 2017. Read on for more interesting information about his life and career.
C. J. Beathard Brief Bio
Casey Jarrett Beathard was born in Franklin, Tennessee on the 16th of November 1993. As a young boy, he was educated at Battle Ground Academy where he was part of the school’s football team called the Battle Ground Academy Wildcats. His performance was brilliant in every way as he honed his skill and built his stamina playing football. After graduating from high school, C. J. proceeded to further his higher education and hopefully a collegiate career at the University of Iowa.
While in college, Beathard played a minor role in a five-game appearance for the school’s team, Hawkeyes, however, it was only on the 21st of September that he made his official collegiate debut when his team played against Western Michigan. In the match against the Broncos, Beathard made four rushes for 30 yards and completed a 54- yard. His first career touchdown on a five-yard rush came through for him on the 9th of November 2013 in the match against Purdue.
In his next match against Nebraska, Beathard was able to add another touchdown to his kitty on a four-yard rush. In the fourth quarter after the 21-14 loss, he threw a touchdown pass over to his teammate kevonte Martin-Manley and this was during the Outback Bowl against LSU.
During the 2017 Senior Bowl season, C. J. Beathard received an invitation to meet with the representatives of the Chicago Bears whom he hoped to impress with his skills on the field of play during the week scheduled for the “Senior Bowl.” Unfortunately, he wasn’t able to make a great impression after a week-long practice session. Beathard later played for the North Team on the 28th of January 2017, in the game, he was limited by two passes for 4 passing yards as well as a 12-yard rush leading to a loss by the North 15-16 to the Southern team.
Fortunately, Beathard was selected by the San Francisco 49ers, 104th overall in the third round of the NFL draft in 2017. He subsequently signed a rookie contract worth a whopping $3.52 million with an upfront bonus of $706,288. After he was named as the backup to Brian Hoyer by Head coach Kyle Schanahan. He made his professional debut for the regular season on the 15th of October 2017, C. J. then went on to complete the season with a total of 123-of-224 passes (54.9%) for 1,430 yards, six interceptions, and four touchdowns.

He has also shown some serious side to his music-making as observed in his hit songs like; “The Love Song,” “Homeboy,” “Walk a Little Straighter” among others. Interestingly, it is worth noting that C.J.’s grandfather, Bobby, was a former NFL general manager.
Personal Life – Girlfriend, Kids
It’s no hidden secret that most football players live life on a fast lane, rarely committing to a steady relationship while having a lot of women by their side. Though C. J. Beathard is not the excessive type, he too has never been married before; maybe he abhors commitment or maybe he is just looking to settle down with the right woman. However, he is in a good relationship with his girlfriend Madelyn Chupka who he started dating in 2012. Though they are yet to walk down the aisle, they welcome their first child and son together in 2016. Our fingers are definitely crossed as we hope for a wedding announcement because they sure look good together.
Height And Weight
The football field is sure a tough place to be in especially during matches as there are lots of pushing, throwing, and of course, running into other players “deliberately.” As a result, it is quite pertinent that athletes have the right body type to carry such pressure out on the field. For C. J. Beathard, he scores major in this department as he stands tall at an enviable 6 feet 2 inches(1. 88m) and has a mass of 99kg(219 lbs).
