It was also here that he grew up playing street soccer. As a result of how poor his family was, Casemiro was always passing the night in the home of relatives including his aunt and grandmother because his house was too small to contain them all.
Before he became a teenager, he had already worked hard on the path that would set him to become one of the best defensive midfielders in the world, and by the age of 14, he had already got a youth club.
Even though his surname is Casimiro, the name Casemiro was mistakenly typed on his jersey and it stuck on him.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder was raised as the first child of his parents, Magda de Faria Casemiro and Servando Casimero. Like many other football stars to come out of Brazil, Carlos Henrique Casimiro was raised in a very poor family mainly by his mother as his father wasn’t there.
As a result of this, he was forced with his two younger brothers to take care of themselves and rely on the very little that their mother could provide for them.
He got married in 2014 to Anna Mariana Casemiro and together, they have a daughter. Anna Mariana is a make-up artist in Brazil. The couple tied the knot in Itatiba, Brazil on June 28, 2014, and their first child, a daughter named Sara came in 2016.

As regards his career as a professional footballer, Casemiro began his club football as a youth with the São Paulo FC. That was in 2002 and he remained with the club until 2010 when he moved to the senior team for the next 3 years. After his stay with the Brazilian club, he moved on loan to the Real Madrid B in 2013. That same year, after just 15 games, he was moved to the senior team on a loan but the move was almost immediately made permanent. In 2014, he was sent on loan to Porto, only to return to Real Madrid again in 2015.
