The versatile thespian began life’s journey on March 25, 1976. He was born in Seoul, South Korea, and his parents are Cha Jae-wan and Choi Su-min. His media affiliations could be traced to his father who worked as an assistant director for the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), while his entertainment gene could have come from his mother, who was also a voice-over artist and lends her voice for movie characters in the film industry. His acting career took a downturn afterward despite the fame he gained from his performance in My Sassy Girl but it did not stop him from releasing a second studio album “The Book” in 2003.
