Christopher Chace Crawford was born on July 18, 1985, in Lubbock, Texas. He has mainly English roots with remote degrees of Scottish, Northern Irish, and German ancestry. He had his high school education at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison, Texas. As a teenager, Crawford worked as a model for a number of major retail clothing brands. Upon graduation in 2003, he enrolled to study broadcast journalism and marketing at Pepperdine University. However, he did not complete his degree as he dropped out to go full-time into acting. A former beauty queen, Candice Crawford has also had her time in the spotlight as she was crowned Miss Missouri USA in 2008 and also made it to the top 10 of the Miss USA 2008 pageant. Chace Crawford is also the brother-in-law of former NFL quarterback and sports analyst Tony Romo, who is married to his sister Candice.
