Charisma Carpenter is an American actress who many have come to know and really love, thanks to her role in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Of Spanish, French, and German descent, Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada where she was raised as the youngest in the family of three children by her father who was a salesperson, and her mother who was a bird sanctuary worker. She grew up alongside her two brothers. By the time she was 15, her family moved to Mexico.
For her education, Carpenter began her high school at the Bishop Gorman High School before she left to continue at Bonita Vista High School, and then as a result of the fact that she always loved arts and performance, she moved to the Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts.
She started with working on a number of commercials before she got her first role as an actress on Baywatch. Shortly after that, she got another role when she was brought in for Malibu Shores. What may remain her most significant works is when she got to play Cordelia Chase in the TV Vampire Slayer series.
