Cooking is definitely second nature to Chef Kevin Belton who teaches at the New Orleans School of Cooking and has played a major role in introducing visitors from all over the globe to the delicacies and rich traditions of Lousiana. Kevin Belton’s actual date of birth has remained elusive to date, however, there are sources who claim that the famed chef was born in 1960. Also, the identity of his parents has never been revealed, though it is common knowledge that his mum is of French-Caribbean ancestry while his dad’s heritage is a mix of English, American, and French. Being born in New Orleans makes him an American national but his ethnicity is obviously mixed. He is also with the CBS affiliate WWL’s Morning show as the resident chef and is as well in association with WYES-TV where he functions as the host of many of their popular cooking marathons. Kevin has a WYES President’s Award under his belt and is also rated Top 20 Louisiana Chefs by the American Culinary Federation. Chef Kevin Belton is a married man, though the details of his marital life have never been disclosed to the media as he tries his best to shield his spouse from public attention. However, it is a known fact that he has a couple of grown-up children, two sons namely Kevin Jr. Belton and his younger brother, Jonathan Belton.
