Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Charles David Liddell better known by his stage name Chuck Liddell is a mixed martial artist born on December 17, 1969, in Santa Barbara, California to parents of partially Irish descent. Not much is known about his father who had no hand in his upbringing. He was raised by his mother and grandmother alongside his other siblings attending the San Marcos High School where he was very active in wrestling. Being a very athletic kid, Chuck was also active on the football team as a center and linebacker.

Chuck Liddell’s grandmother introduced him and his siblings to boxing at a very young age so that by the time he was 12, he had studied Koei-Kan karate. After High school, he went on to California Polytechnic State University to study Business/Accounting and graduated in 1995. While there, Chuck Liddell also became a Division I wrestler. At the time of his graduation, he had broken some records and set many others. As an amateur kickboxer, he held a record of just 2 losses and 20 wins, 16 of which he secured by a knockout.

After school, Liddel made the decision to take his career as a mixed martial artist to the next level. He moved to Las Vegas Nevada where he was taken under the wings of Jon Lewis and began training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Making his professional debut in 1998 at the UFC 17, an event held by the Ultimate Fighting Championship in Alabama. He scored a victory in his first fight over Noe Hernandez, won his next fight by defeating vale tudo fighter Jose “Pele” Landi-Johns but soon recorded his first loss to Jeremy Horn after which he came back to a winning streak that established him as a top contender and a force to reckon with. By 2002, the name Chuck Liddell was very well known in the UFC as the number 1 contender for the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.

The year 2013 saw the Champ moving in Pride Championships to represent the UFC. This was after he took a defeat in a barrage of punches from heavyweight champion Randy Couture. Back at UFC, his feud with Tito Ortiz soon reached its boiling point in a UFC 47 match on April 2, 2004. Even though Liddell won, Tito has not forgiven him for blinding him with a punch that made him see black until the fight was over.

Among his many other career successes, Chuck was known for being extraordinary when he knocked out Vernon Tiger white cracking his orbital bone with his hands…very Fierce! He trained alongside John Hackleman from all of his active years from 1998 to 2010, he won many awards including being inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame.

Proving his worth outside the ring, Chuck Liddell has also dabbled into films and reality tv where he excelled mostly starring as himself or voicing himself. He released his autobiographical book titled Iceman: My Fighting Life in 2008.

With the height of fame, he has achieved as a mixed martial artist, Chuck Liddell has earned a lot of money and is worth even more than has been quoted. Although his other sources of income have not been made known it is estimated that he earns roughly $4 million per year. With this, his net worth is estimated to be over $16 million.

Chuck has amassed properties from the many real estate investments he’s made. He has a 5,923 square feet home with a swimming pool, a basketball court, and valuated ceilings.  He has two bars in Lincoln Nebraska and a fleet of cars including Hummer H1: grey edition, Ferarri F4300: grey Edition, and a BMW 760 Li black in color.

Chuck is not one to announce his personal business, and as such, many of his fans are not sure if the Champ is married or not. But we have it on good authority that he took his relationship with then-girlfriend Heidi Northcott to the next level when he proposed to her on the 4th of November 2010. It is not clear if they finally made it to the aisle or not, but the two are certainly living together with no scandal so far.

One year after their engagement, the couple had their first child together, a daughter who they named Guinevere. This was soon followed by the arrival of their son Charles David Liddell Jr. in 2013. Before he started a family with Heidi, Chuck Liddell had two children from previous relationships. He had a daughter Trista Liddell with MA fighter Casey Noland and a son Cade with Lori Geyer.

His wife Heidi Northcott became pretty famous not because of any success of the works of her hands, but rather because she did an advert with Chuck where both were exercising in nudes. Since the ad, many have taken to the internet to find out more about the pretty lady.

The 5 Feet 3 inches tall blonde bombshell was born January 15, 1980, in Huntington Beach California where she grew up. She attended Marina High School and graduated in 1997 before moving on to the University of Southern California where she majored in Management Information System and Natural Science. She works as the vice president of Business Development for High Traffic Media, a company involved in internet marketing, SEO, and mеdiа planning.

Heidi enjoys traveling, hiking, working out, rock climbing, dancing, motorcycle riding, cliff jumping, skydiving, and playing poker which was a hobby she picked up while dating baseball player Jose Canseco who had taught her to play. She speaks French, English, Vietnamese and Spanish fluently.
