Daniel Kyre was born Daniel Lee Kyre in South Carolina, the U.S.A on the 6th of July 1994 to an average family. He had a younger sister and together they were raised in South Carolina till he decided to move to Los Angeles to pursue his career in entertainment. He went to high school in his hometown and showed he was career-oriented from his childhood.

Daniel Kyre was known as a YouTube star before his death. In 2012, he started a YouTube channel titled Cyndago with his childhood friend Ryan Magee. This was after many years of unpublished collaborations. The channel was known for comic videos. Mark Fischbach (Markiplier), a bigger YouTube personality signed them up and worked with them in some of their videos. This contributed to the channel uploads gathering millions of viewers and subscribers in no time.

Move To Los Angeles

After moving to Los Angeles, California with his friend in early 2015, they hired a third member in running the channel, Cyndago. He was called Matt Watson and was responsible for creating and editing content for the channel. As at September 2015, they had added 200,000 more subscribers to their channel with more views. Some of the videos they were known for were “The WarfStache Affair” and “We Dye Our Hair”

Apart from being a YouTube celebrity, Daniel Kyre was also an aspiring songwriter and guitarist. He always posted music frequently on the sound cloud. Daniel also made the music used in the videos uploaded on Youtube.

Daniel Kyre Death – How He Died

Unfortunately, just when he was beginning to make it out of his entertainment career, on the 16th of September 2015, he was found in his room in a bad condition after an obvious suicide attempt. Daniel Kyre was taken to the hospital and was in the intensive care unit where the doctor revealed he had suffered irreversible brain damage. Two days after, on the 18th of September 2015, he was taken off life support and died.

A day after he died, the announcement was made public to the media by his family and the other Cyndago members. They urged people going through suicidal thoughts or depression to seek help. Daniel Kyre’s death brought about several reactions. It caused the discontinuation of the Youtube channel. Several other YouTube personalities expressed their grief and condolences. Markiplier made a video titled “Lost a friend” to address the situation and went on a break from uploading videos on his channel for a while.

Not much is known about Daniel’s family. His father was called David Kyre. He had a younger sister who lived with his parents in South Carolina and his family was described as an average one. Daniel Kyre’s family created a life tribute page after his death to make it easier for people to share their memories.  A GoFundMe account was opened by Daniel’s friend, Mark Fischbach to support the Kyre family after Daniel’s death.

Childhood Friend – Ryan Magee

His childhood friend, Ryan was born Ryan Elias Magee on the 14th of June 1994 and grew up in South Carolina as well. Before he met the late Daniel and formed the channel Cyndago, Ryan had embarked on a solo YouTube journey as a creator. After Daniel died and Cyndago ended, Ryan together with Matt (the other Cyndago member) became best friends and continued to work with Markiplier.

A year after, Ryan and Matt quit working for Markiplier for the reason being that it was difficult to keep the work and friendship separate as Markiplier pointed out in a Facebook post. Ryan now works as an editor together with Matt for the Game Grumps; a web series hosted by Arin Hanson and David Avidan. He is also the editor for kittykat gaming affiliated to the Game Grumps. Ryan launched his own gameplay YouTube channel with Matt called SuperMega with over 400,000 subscribers and over 75 million views.

Furthermore, Ryan has another YouTube channel called kids w/ problems alongside Matt Watson and Jackson Tucker. The channel is involved in making funny videos and has over 100,000 subscribers and over 2 million views.

Ryan loves the Iron Giant movie and has a tattoo on his shoulder depicting this movie. His laugh is so iconic that he is well known for it. Matt terms it “glorious”. Since Ryan was 18, he smoked cigarettes however, he is trying to quit. His parents are divorced.
