Born on April 25, 1986, as Daniel Andrew Sharman in London, the young actor enjoyed the support of his parents in his chosen career. Aside from that, very little is known about his family background. For his early education, he studied at Mill Hill School which is a private boarding school, and continued his studies at the Arts Educational School where he portrayed diverse characters to critical acclaim. His higher education was obtained from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art where he finished with a bachelor of art degree in acting.
Now ready for the spotlight, Sharman took the industry by storm. He debuted in the feature film The Last Days of Edgar Harding, he played the role of a musician in the film and made the cast of Immortals, playing the role of Ares- the Greek god of war in 2010. He became a recurring face in The Originals in 2014 when he joined the series as Kaleb Westphall.
