American actress, Danielle Andrea Harris was born in Plainview, Long Island, New York, on the 1st of June, 1977. The actress spent most of her childhood in Florida where she grew up with her younger sister, Ashley Harris. The two were raised by their mother, Fran Harris.
Growing up, she participated in pageantries and also had a lot of modeling offers. When her family moved back to New York, Harris began her acting career by auditioning for television and film roles. She is also a voice actress and a film director who is great at her job. In 2011, she won the Best Actress Award at the Shockfest Film Festival and in 2012, she won the Best Actress Award at the Burbank International Film Festival. She was also inducted into the Fangoria Hall of Fame in 2012. These are just a few of her many accolades.
Her acting debut was made at the age of seven when she played the role of Samantha ‘Sammi’ Garreston in the ABC soap opera One Life to Live (1985 – 1987). She is best known for her appearance in quite a number of horror movies, one of which is the famous Halloween Franchise. In the 1990s, she became famous as a child actress when she appeared in movies such as Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead (1991), Daylight (1996), Marked for Death (1990), Free Willy (1993) and The Last Boy Scout (1991). She also voiced the character of Halfpipe in Godkiller (2010) and Debbie Thornberry in the Nickelodeon series The Wild Thornberrys (1998 – 2004) and also in The Wild Thornberrys Movie (2002), Rugrats Go Wilds (2003).
Over time, this hardworking actress was able to create a solid career for herself by starring in a number of horror movies such as Left for Dead (2007), Blood Night: The Legend of Mary Hatchet (2009), Cyrus: Mind of a Serial Killer (2010), Halloween & Halloween II (2007, 2009). In 2007, Danielle Harris appeared as Ivan’s girlfriend in a music video titled The Bleeding by Five Finger Death Punch. She was also cast in Requiem, Camp Cold Brooke and Come, Said the Night.

In 1995, she was stalked by a fan, Christopher Small, who continuously wrote her letters and threatened to kill her. He was later arrested by the police after he showed up at her house with a firearm. In October 2009, a restraining order against Small was granted to Harris after she started receiving messages from him through Twitter.
