David Pollack is an American television personality and a retired football player, he was featured as a linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals of the American professional football league. Biography – Who Is David Pollack?

David Pollack was born on the 19th of June, 1982 in New Brunswick, New Jersey. According to reports, he is the only child of his parents – Kelli and Norm Pollack. For his education, he studied at the Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia. While he was there, he was a member of the school’s basketball, football and wrestling teams.

After he graduated from high school, Pollack furthered his education by attending the University of Georgia, where he also followed his passion for football and joined the school’s football team from 2001 to 2004. He graduated with a degree in History from the University.

In 2005, he was recruited by the Cincinnati Bengals, but he did not play as starting linebacker until the Bengals’ sixth game. Not too long into his first season with the NFL, he suffered an injury which led to his absence from two of the Bengals’ games; however, that did not stop him from coming second on the team players list, which was only made possible due to his talent and performance with the team.

In 2006, during his second NFL season, he was a starting linebacker for the Bengals’ first game. The team played their in-state rivals, the Cleveland Browns, on the 17th of September 2006; sadly, it was the game against the Browns that saw to his early retirement after he had sustained an injury from the game. After three years of medical rehabilitation, Pollack retired from professional football on the 22nd of April, 2008. He stated that he went into retirement because he was not comfortable with his medical condition and did not think he was going to be fit enough to return to the field.

Eventually finding his feet after the end of his football career, David Pollack launched a company, FanBan, which produces sports banners that have sports photos and University football team logos on them. In the spirit of giving back, FanBan has helped raise funds for the YMCA scholarships.

David Pollack later pursued a career in TV hosting and has worked with sports stations like Atlanta 799, CBS, ESPNU, and is currently at ESPN.
