Deborah Falconer had her fair share of the spotlight in her heyday as a model and a Hollywood actress. She was born Deborah Lynn Falconer on the 13th day of August in the year 1965. She was born and raised in the city of Sacramento, California, U.S.A. Deborah is the only child of her mother Laura Elaine Falconer and her father Henry Irvin Falconer. Not much is known about her early education and her upbringing but we are in the know that she attended Fairfield High School in Fairfield, California.
At the age of 22, Deborah Falconer marked her acting debut with a minor role in the comedy film The Wrong Guys (1988). Her next role was in the biopic The Doors (1991) in which she portrayed a character called Debbie Falconer. The budding actress equally starred in the comedy flick Pyrates (1991) as well as the telefilm Brotherhood of the Gun (1991).
She had a lead role opposite German actor Thomas Heinze in the crime comedy film Mr. Bluesman (1993) and she also appeared in the comedy movie Shortcuts (1993) which also featured her future husband .
Falconer’s music career has been more impressive than her acting career. She has over three music albums to her name. Her debut studio album Brave Like Me was released in 2003. She dropped another album Untangle in 2010 followed by Lift Your Gaze which was released in 2014. Deborah Falconer and Robert Downey Jr. were once a married couple. Their relationship progressed very rapidly and interestingly, the duo decided to take their romance to the next stage after dating for less than two months. They were said to have dated for only 42 days before eventually tying the knot on May 29, 1992. A year after getting married, they welcomed their first and only child, a son named Indio Falconer Downey who was born on the 7th of September 1993.
Her marriage to Downey Jr. lasted for more than a decade which is a pretty long time going by Hollywood standards. Sadly, the marriage was put under a lot of strain owing to the fact that the Hollywood star was battling drug addiction then. His frequent arrests for drug possession coupled with repeated trips to jail and rehab ultimately took a toll on their union. Her son Indio Falconer Downey has since towed the path of his famous parents into the world of show business. He marked his acting debut in the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (2005) starring alongside his father. However, he discontinued acting and has since ventured into music. As a singer and a guitarist, he is a member of a Los Angeles-based rock band called The Dose.
