Deborah Jennifer Stern is the daughter of renowned and iconic TV host Howard Stern and his first love Alisson Stern whose love story began as teenagers at Boston University. Deborah’s father Howard Stern is also a Hollywood actor who has nicknamed himself king of the Media while her mother Alisson was an American actress who was married to Howard for 23 years before she left him in favor of David Simon who she got remarried to.

Following in the footsteps of her parents, Deborah made her career in the entertainment industry as an actress. Although she did not attain as much as the height her father did in showbiz, she did make something out of her many years of experience.

Famous eccentric TV host Howard Stern and his then-wife Alisson welcome their second child Deborah Jennifer Stern on the 9th day of May 1986 when all was still good and rosy between the two. Following her parent’s divorce, she spent a huge chunk of her growing-up days with her mother and sisters; the older – Emily Bert Stern, born in 1983, and the younger sister – Ashely Jane Stern, born in 1993. Emily is three years older than Deborah and she is also an actress who featured in the movie Remember Me in 2017

Deborah grew up in New York and is well-read in many versatile areas of life. She attained a degree in humanitarian services, has a Ph.D. as an Independent Education consultant, an MAT from the University of Chicago Pennsylvania, and from the University of Pennsylvania a Ph.D. in Reading, Writing, and Literacy. She is also a school originator and teacher.

Deborah is the founder of Debra Stern Partners also known as The Muse. Her acting career took off with a minor appearance in one episode of the show Parker Lewis Can’t Lose this was followed by other appearances in movies like For The Boys in 1991, Nudist Colony Of The Dead in the same year, and Wide Awake in 1998.

The Patriarch of the family – Howard Stern, is an American radio and television personality, producer, author, actor, and photographer; which is probably where his daughters got the knack from. Her mother Alison Berns got divorced from Howard in 1999 and is currently married to David Simon.

Long after his 1999 divorce from his first love Alisson Berns, the patriarch of the Stern family started dating model Beth Ostrosky. The relationship led them to the altar on October 3, 2008.

While Deborah pursued a career in becoming an Education Consultant the eldest Stern daughter Emily Stern studied theater arts at New York University’s Tish School of Arts to enable her to pursue her acting career professionally. Emily also has a flair for music, she has written and released a few songs. Her first music album titled Birthday was produced by Tree of light publishing and was released in 2003. To further prove that she is a lady of many talents, Emily has a burning desire for photography and owns an exhibit center at the Hadas Gallery in Brooklyn.

On her own part, Deborah’s younger sister Ashley Jade has done a very good job in keeping details of her life away from the media. Like her oldest sister Emily, it is believed that the divorce between Howard and Alisson had a huge effect on the love lives of their children, so, Ashley is still very single. The three siblings have an estranged relationship with their Father’s wife Beth.

For a while, it seemed like the traumatic experience of watching her parents get divorced was going to stop Deborah from having her happily ever after. Many speculated that the Stern sisters could not keep a man, but all the rumors were put to rest in 2016 when Deborah Jenifer Stern got married to her longtime boyfriend Colin Christya who is the founder of Hapa Haba designs.

The marriage is yet to produce a child but the couple does seem to be getting along just fine with no telltale signs of trouble or a hint of divorce insight.

Fingers are still crossed to see the other two Stern girls walk down the altar as Deborah did.
