Dr Dre was born in Compton, California, the United States on February 18, 1965. His birth name is Andre Romelle Young. His parents are Theodore and Verna Young. His father, Theodore, sang in an amateur music group called the ‘Romells’ and impregnated his mother, Verna, when she was still in high school, even though they eventually got married.
His parents divorced after 8 years of marriage; that probably influenced his attitude towards marriage.
