Drake is a Canadian rapper, producer, and songwriter with multi-award-winning, record-breaking albums. As of 2016, he was the number one musical act, breaking the record for most weeks atop Billboard Artist 100 by a male. To top it off his record stayed at number one on the list for 12 consecutive weeks.
The rapper initially gained recognition as an actor on the drama series Degrassi. After which be began to pursue his passion for rapping in 2006, by releasing his first mix tape Room for Improvement.
Since then the rapper has gone on to solidify his stake in the hip hop community, the rapper comes in at number 5 in Forbes Five: Hip-hop’s Wealthiest Artists, with an estimated net worth of $60 million, knocking out 50 cents from his spot.
Drizzy Drake as the rapper usually refers to himself, was born in Canada and was born into the family of Aubury Graham, a drummer, and Sandi Graham an English teacher and florist. The artist went on to spend most of his growing years with his mother after his parents’ divorce, an incident he makes reference to in a couple of his songs.
As a very commercialized artist, he has gotten support from the industry leaders like Jay-z, Kanye West, and Lil-Wayne. The artist has done collaborations with not just some of the industry’s top rappers but with various top singers like Rihanna, with who he has also had an on-and-off again relationship over the years.
Drake’s Girlfriend
The music man has had quite a string of girlfriends. The rapper is pinned with various girls at various times and has never had a consistent/long-term girlfriend in the public eye. In 2015, pictures swirled around of the rapper and international sensation Serena Williams who at that moment won a tournament.

Dennis Graham is the rapper’s dad and has often been referenced in some of his songs like “0 to 100” and “Look What You’ve Done. Dennis Graham is an American drummer, so we can see where Drake got his musical talent from.
After the demise of their marriage (Drake’s mum and dad), Dennis left the family and went back to Memphis where he is originally from. Dennis has gone on to keep making music, using the fame of his son to create his track “Drake’s Dad”. He also went on to release an RnB track titled “Kinda Crazy”.
Drake’s Sister
There have been no confirmed rumors that Drake has a sister. However, there are some speculations that the rapper has a half-sister from his father’s side.
Not only does he sometimes mention his “sis” in some of his songs, he sometimes posts pictures of a woman named Raemiah Julianna, tagging her as his sister.
Drake’s Mom
Sandi Graham is a Jewish Canadian florist and an English teacher and also Drake’s biological mother. After the divorce between her and Drake’s father, she went on the raise and be the sole provider for Drake. The rapper and his mom have a close relationship and he often refers to her as his hero.
The artist is one to watch. The family-oriented man has won over the hearts of millions in just a few years of being in the industry. He has definitely earned his spot at the top with hard work and his fresh and authentic sound.
