Three years into Torchwood, Myles left Belonging. Her part in Torchwood lasted for 5 successful years bringing her critical acclaim than any other part she’d ever played. The role brought her the 2007 BAFTA Cymru for Best Actress – the first award of her career. She also earned the SFX Award for Best Actress alongside a couple of other coveted award nominations.
During her time on Belongings, Myles made time to also appear as a guest on other shows including Merlin, Little Dorrit, and A Bit of Tom Jones.
Though Torchwood came to an end on TV in 2011, it continued on the radio from 2015 with Myles still reprising her role. As of the time of this writing, it continues to air on the radio.
