The American football defensive end Arden Key first came into this world on May 3, 1996. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Arden Key Sr. and his wife. 2. Arden Key was Among the Top-25 National Player Recruit in High School

Young Key developed a keen interest in playing football from an early age; he attended Hapeville Charter Career Academy situated in Union City, Georgia. While he was there, he played the position of a defensive end for the school team. In his junior year, he recorded eight sacks, 15.5 sacks as a senior, and 12 sacks during his sophomore year. Having been scouted by many colleges, Arden Key committed to Louisiana State University and at the end of his high school career, he joined LSU. He finished the season having a record of 41 tackles and five sacks; thus earning a spot on the Freshman All-American team. The following year, Key had a significant improvement, finishing his sophomore year with a total of 12 sacks. He also got First-team All-Southeastern Conference honors from the Associated Press and was named to the First-team All-SEC.

During his junior year in 2017, Key was tagged as the number one overall prospect for the 2018 NFL draft. Although his performance was cut short due to injuries, he was able to record a forced fumble, 4 sacks, and 33 tackles. At the beginning of 2018, Key made an official announcement that he would be joining the NFL draft of 2018.

4. He Was Drafted by the Oakland Raiders During the NFL Draft of 2018

Key was projected to be a first-rounder in the 2018 draft, however, his off-field issues affected him and he rather ended up in the fourth round. He was selected by the Oakland Raiders as the 87th selection in the 2018 NFL draft.
