This retired boxer seems to have a lot of drama and controversy going on and it’s mostly female related, so today we decided to dedicate a whole article to the women in his life. Yes, we are going to get the gist on Floyd Mayweather’s girlfriend, daughter (his kids too because we can’t just talk about his daughters) and his mother. Floyd Mayweather’s Girlfriend
Mayweather has never been married, we just wanted to put that out there, although the retired boxer has been engaged to a couple of women, he has never made it down the aisle with any of them. So without further ado, let’s check them out.
Floyd Mayweather’s girlfriend; Josie Harris
She was his high school sweetheart and the couple was together from 1993- 2007. Theirs was a somewhat rocky relationship and clearly an on and off affair. Despite all that the couple went on to have… wait for it, three kids, two boys (Koraun and Zion) and one of the girls — Jirah.
Sometime in 2005, they got engaged, but we already know that there was no wedding whatsoever. The reason is a no brainer, Floyd Mayweather has known to be quite the woman batterer, and he has a lengthy history of domestic abuse when it comes to Josie, he even went to jail in 2012 for assaulting her in 2010.
Needless to say that relationship is over and Harris wrote a tell it all book that reveals the ‘perils’ of being with the athlete.
Floyd Mayweather’s Girlfriend; Melissa Brim
So apparently, while Mayweather and Josie Harris were having their on and off relationship, he was also shacking up with Melissa Brim. The two were together from 1998- 2012 and she even features in Josie’s tell it all book. There’s a part where she talks about the time she found Brim in bed with Floyd.
Mayweather is an avid example of the leopard that doesn’t change his spots, as he also verbally and physically abused Brim on two occasions, once in front of the child they share. The lawsuits were dropped on both accounts, but he served 2 days of house arrest (the crime obviously fits the punishment).
Floyd Mayweather’s Girlfriend; Shantel Jackson
This is the second girlfriend who got the ring, but never got to walk down the aisle, some (everyone) would say she dodged a bullet. The two had apparently been dating steadily from 2006 and Mayweather convinced her to move out to Las Vegas to be with him. Oh and you bet she did, but she eventually got ‘tired of all the side girls he had’.
Then there was also the issue of abuse, after they broke up, Jackson even sued him for for allegedly mistreating and assaulting her multiple times while they were together. Needless to say, they both moved on.
Floyd Mayweather’s Girlfriend; The Others
We mean this in the least offensive way possible, the athlete has quite the track record and we have to reel it in so we can move past his rocky relationships. Floyd is said to have been involved with Jessica Burciaga, a model and Playboy’s Playmate of the Year in 2009, some other girlfriends include Doralie Medina and model Liza Hernandez.
More recently there are a couple of names linked to the artist, one of which is 19-year-old Raemarni Ball, who the star is ‘not dating’, but they have been seen together a whole lot, apparently he’s managing her music career.
Floyd Mayweather’s Girlfriend – Abi Clarke
In July 2017, it came to light that Floyd was secretly dating a certain Abi Clarke. Many would remember her from the reality TV show “The Only Way Is Essex” aka TOWIE for short.
According to sources, they met in Las Vegas in 2016 and shortly after, began dating. Mayweather is 15 years older than her. Sources say the pair have been very serious about their relationship and that Mayweather has even introduced her to his family. Could she be the next to walk down the aisle with him? Only time can tell.
“Abi and Floyd really hit it off and she was blown away by his sense of humour and generosity…She was in a fragile and vulnerable place and Floyd has made her feel confident again,” A Sun source revealed.
That difficult place could be referring to Abi’s ex-boyfriend Rob Davies. The pair were in a long-term relationship before breaking up in 2016.
“Although she knew about his reputation as a party animal, she’s been pleasantly surprised and discovered he’s actually a really lovely guy,” added the source.

Floyd Mayweather’s Kids
Floyd Mayweather has 4 children, a 2 son (Koraun and Zion Mayweather) and 2 daughters, with three of them being from his relationship with Josie Harris and the other one from his relationship with Melissa Brim.
Floyd Mayweather’s Daughters
As mentioned earlier, he has two daughters, Iyanna and Jirah Mayweather. Iyanna was born on May 20, 2000 (16), to Floyd and his former lady love, Melissa Brim, while Jirah was born on June 25, 2004 (12) to the retired boxer and his high school sweetheart Josie Harris.
All we can tell you is that Floyd spoils these children silly, both the girls an boys alike, they haven’t invented an item that his money can buy that he would not get for his kids.
Floyd Mayweather’s Mother
Theirs is a slightly dysfunctional relationship, but there’s no doubt that Floyd Mayweather loves his mother. Her name is Deborah Sinclair and she was seriously hooked on drugs back in the day.
In regards to his turbulent childhood, he said, ‘ It’s never been easy for me. Life has not been easy the boxing is easy but life has never been easy, I had a father who was a hustler and a mother who was on drugs. I was the man in the house from 16. That’s just the way it was.’
He also said, ‘ Let me tell you how it was. At Christmas we never had a Christmas. My mother would go out and steal presents for me. She tried but it was hard and that’s why I look after her now.’ He also added that the only woman he needs in his life is his mother.
