Gal Gadot was born on April 30, 1985, in Petah Tikva Israel, and raised one town over in Rosh HaAyin. Her father Michael Gadot is a sixth-generation Israeli and her mother, Irit, a first-generation Israeli. Gadot was brought up in a very Jewish environment and she has a younger sister, Dana.
