Early Life

Hannah Alligood was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 2003 and celebrates her birthday on the 28th of June every year. She is not an only child as she has a younger sister named Avery.

Alligood’s love for acting began at quite an early age. She learned about aptitude for theatrics and soon began participating in community-based platforms with an adult-like elation and when her parents noticed her love and passion for what she does, they began looking out for audition venues for her.

Finally, in 2014, she got noticed as a child actress and the following year, she made her first screen appearance in Sony PlayStation Network’s series Power. She also acted in a short TV movie titled Out for Delivery before landing the big one, playing the child version of Cara Delevingne’s character in Paper Towns. Her role in the movie earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award in the Supporting Actress category.

After auditioning in 2016, she won the highly coveted role of Frankie in Better Things and then went ahead to feature in two other drama films – The Divergent Series, Allegiant and Miracles from Heaven. She played the role of Crush Girl in Allegiant.

In 2017, she got a role to star in an ad for Apple Inc’s iPad Pro. The ad generated a lot of controversies in it, she acted like a child who had no idea of what a computer was. Many misunderstood the ad and thought that she didn’t actually know what a computer was, which was absurd for a girl of her generation. The end of the ad didn’t go as planned as many made mockery of it on YouTube.

In 2018, Hannah Alligood played the role of Olivia in David Hudgin’s and Carol Mendelsohn’s 2018 CBS drama pilot Chiefs. Also in the drama was award-winning actress, .

Hannah lives with her simple family which comprises of herself, her parents and her younger sister. Her mom’s name is Kelly Alligood but her dad’s name is unknown. Her mother has sacrificed a lot for her to see her become a success in her chosen career. Her mom is said to have been into blogging but had to stop to attend to her daughter’s needs which included taking her for auditions, screen tests, callbacks, and bookings.

She receives quite a fair share of support from her family members. Her younger sister, Avery happens to be her number one fan. Hannah enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends. She draws, reads, sings and dances whenever she is not acting.
