The 14th day of September 2016 is a day that will probably remain memorable to the Bregoli’s. It was on that day that the then 13-year-old Danielle Bregoli and her mother Barbara Ann Bregoli featured on Dr. Phil’s show in the segment “I Want To Give Up My Car-Stealing, Knife-Wielding, Twerking 13-Year-Old Daughter Who Tried To Frame Me For A Crime”. To tell you how enormous Danielle’s problems were, while an episode of the show was being filmed, she stole a crew member’s car.
When Danielle Bregoli finally got on the show, her car-stealing penchant was the focal point of the discussion because she saw nothing wrong with taking someone else’s car. When asked about being caught, Danielle responded that she never gets caught. While the audience, mainly women in their 40’s giggled at her responses, she responded “Catch me outside, how about that?” which was a challenge for a fight. The way she said it sounded more like “Cash me outside how bout dah”. That catchphrase was turned into a meme that went viral on the internet. On February 10, 2017, she appeared on the show again but there was no audience because of her comment the last time.

DJ Suede The Remix God made a single of the phrase titled How Bout Dab? which made it to charts like Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Billboard Hot 100, and Streaming Songs. Walmart also used the catchphrase on some T-shirts to the angst of the Bregolis who threatened to sue them, a threat they carried out on 3 other companies they sued for intellectual property theft for using the phrase without any express consent from them.
Since these events, the then 13/14-year-old girl with a language problem has turned into a musician in the most unconventional means. She has released singles titled These Heaux (RIAA: Gold certified), Hi Bich (RIAA: Gold, MC: Gold certified), in 2017. In 2018 she released Gucci Flip Flops featuring Lil Yachty (RIAA: Platinum, MC: Gold certified), Trusts Me featuring Ty Dolla Sign, and Geek’d featuring Lil Baby. The following year, she released Bestie which featured Kodak Black and Megan Thee Stallion, Gets Like Me featuring NLE Choppa, and Spaz featuring YBN Nahmir. All these have in no small way contributed to making Danielle Bregoli famous.
