Inbee Park is a professional golfer from South Korea who plays on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. She is currently ranked as one of the best female golfers in the world and she has been rated the number one player in the Women’s World Golf Rankings on four different occasions. First, in April 2013 to June 2014, then in October 2014 to February 2015, again in June 2015 to October 2015, and most recently since April 2018.

Inbee Park was born in Seoul, South Korea on the 12th of July, 1988. She began playing golf when she was just ten and noticed that she had a natural affinity for it. She moved to the United States two years later to begin pursuing a career in golf.
While in the United States, she was a Rolex Junior All-American five times and she played in the American Junior Golf Association circuit, winning nine events. In 2002, she won the U.S. Girls’ Junior Golf Championship. In 2003, she was a semi-finalist at the U.S. Women’s Amateur Golf Championship. Inbee Park also finished as a runner-up in both 2003 and 2005 for the U.S. Girls’ Junior Golf Championship.
