James Hinchcliffe started car racing as far back as 2003 when he competed in the Bridgestone Racing Academy F2000 series. He is a notable car racer known for his exceptional skills and uniqueness. James Hinchcliffe’s Bio, Age
He was born on December 5, 1986, in the town of Oakville, Ontario, Canada; to his father Jeremy Hinchcliffe, and his mother Arlene Hinchcliffe. He grew up with his parents and siblings; Christopher Hinchcliffe and Rebecca Hinchcliffe. Growing up, young James was inclined to sports, especially car racing. Getting his first go-kart at age 9, he would frolic with sports cars and engage in mini competitions back home as a kid.
It didn’t stop his parents from giving him the education he needed. James attended Oakville Trafalgar High School. He also attended McMaster University where he got a degree. James Hinchcliffe launched his career in karting, as well as car racing in 2003. His dexterity earned him the top rookie spot in Formula BMW USA, having won three of his races in 2004.
He made 3 wins in the Star Mazda Series in 2005 before he proceeded to Champ Car Atlantic Series the following year. Also in 2006, he came 10th in overall standings in a race in Portland. This was during the period he also tasted the Commentary profession during the Eurosport coverage of Champ Car events; he was quite good.
It was time to face business as usual and James Hinchcliffe teamed up with A1 Team Canada in A1 Grand Prix. For his first race with the label; he raced at Zandvoort, where he came 8th in the sprint and came 13th in the feature. He had led the feature for the majority after he had come 2nd in the spirit race, however, he clashed with Alex Young who later became the winner. He came 4th and 10th for sprint and feature race respectively at the Beijing round. This was followed by his return to Forsythe Racing for the 2008 Atlantic Championship season. At the tournament, he came fourth, after which he won the second race of the season at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.
After signing with Sam Schmidt Motorsports, as well as Team Moore Racing to race in different tournaments in 2009, James Hinchcliffe passed time as a driver analyst for Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network in 2010. He had replaced driver analyst Davey Hamilton who was competing at the 2010 Indianapolis 500.
In 2011, he ventured into Indie Cars Series after he signed with Newman/Haas Racing, debuting at Barber Motorsports Park. Hinchcliffe finished in fourth place at the Streets of Long Beach which was his second race in the series. He competed at the 2012 Indianapolis 500 with some ‘lucky charm’ which was a pair of gloves belonging to George Moore his role model. It was his lucky charm indeed as he qualified for second overall and also finished up in sixth place on race day.

Talks about James’ personal life have given rise to lots of speculations and rumors due to its vague appearance. First, there were rumors that the car racer was married, and then it was followed by another suggesting the opposite.
The Hinchville mayor did not help at the time by making clear his stands on marriage. In 2016 it was reported that the car racer got married to a fellow racer, Kathleen Thompson. However, it turned out to be untrue, as the ‘minister’ only officiated the wedding of fellow IndyCar driver Charlie Kimball and his bride Kathleen Thompson.
Now that we got that out of the way, it would not be wrong to say that James has no wife of his own. Instead, James Hinchcliffe is said to be in a romantic relationship with Rebecca Darlton, a Canadian actress. The lovebirds got everyone talking about their public admiration of each other on social media. They reportedly bought a house together though not confirmed. As expected, the public display of affection on and off social media prompted many marriage speculations.
