Isaiah Thomas Family –  Dad, Sister

Thomas was born Isaiah Jamar Thomas. He was given the name Thomas after a former famous Detroit Pistons point guard Isiah Thomas. His father, James was a parts inspector for Boeing and a great basketball fan. In fact, Thomas was named so, after James lost a bet with a friend during the 1989 NBA finals when he agreed to name his son after Detroit guard Isiah Thomas if the Pistons beat his favourite club, the Laker. Eventually, the Pistons swept Los Angeles, and the rest is history.

Thomas had a sister named Chyna who died after she had a car accident on Interstate 5 in Federal Way, Washington, on April 15, 2017. His mother, Tina Baldtrip worked as a nurse.

Isaiah Thomas is a married man. He got married on August 20, 2016, to his longtime girlfriend, Kayla Wallace. The couple is blessed with two sons; Jaiden Thomas and James Tomas. Isaiah Thomas Height, Tooth and Body Measurement

Nicknamed “King of the Fourth”, Thomas is 1.75 M tall in height and 84kg (185 lbs.) in weight. In 2016, he was officially listed by the NBA as 5 feet 9 inches tall, but Thomas openly declared that he was even shorter than that, referring to himself as a ‘little man’. According to him, he was only 5’8 inch tall.

He lost his toot in 2017 during the first quarter of the Celtics’ 123-111 Game 1 win over the Wizards in the Eastern Conference semifinals. The incident happened when Thomas wanted to break up a pass but was suddenly hit on the mouth by Washington’s Otto Porter. The unfortunate collision led to the loss of his top front tooth. In what looked funny to spectators, Thomas quickly picked his fallen tooth up and gave it to a member of Boston’s medical staff, and continued with the game.

After the game was over, Thomas tried to have his tooth fixed but all effort to do so proved abortive. While he is still hopeful that his tooth will be fixed, he continues his game making light of his sudden gap tooth.
