The inspiring sportswoman was born on the 25th of May 1987 in Minnesota. She attended Champlin Park High School before going on to study Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California.
Hersch has always been interested in sports from a young age. She took up figure skating while in high school. She also acted as a reporter during football games at school, conducting interviews with parents, players, and coaches, and broadcasting them on the school’s student news network.
Afterward, she began to send samples of her work to the Minnesota State High School League. Her work really resonated with them and she was asked to report on state football, basketball, and hockey tournaments, much of which was later aired on some local networks in 2004 and 2005.
Jamie Hersch began working as a reporter in Wisconsin. She became a jack of all trades, taking her own pictures, editing them, shooting videos, and producing her own interviews. While studying at USC where she later graduated with honors, she began interning at Annenberg TV News. She worked there as an anchor and reporter for two years.
She moved on to WKOW-TV, working as a multimedia journalist and the anchor of weekend news while reporting breaking news. She built her career covering some of the most remarkable teams in the country including Packers, Badgers, and Brewers, as well as front-line events like the Rose Bowl 2012, and the Super Bowl XLV.
Hersch reached the peak of her career when she landed a job as a sideline reporter and studio host for FOX Sports. She worked there for two years before jetting off to Kuwait to report on a news story about NHL players teaching troops deployed abroad how to play Hockey.
Her versatile reporting techniques also helped her score jobs with the MLB and NHL networks, anchoring sports shows and covering important events. Currently, she hosts
