You have to admit that Jay Z has had his fair share of drama; from marital drama to best friend drama, well now he can officially add baby Mama drama to that list. Yes people, word on the street is there’s a new drama carrier in town and he is none other that Jay Z’s son, or at least he claims to be.
There’s a funny story and there’s a drama-filled one, you bet we are going to hit you with some humor before we take a ride on the roller coaster that is Jay Z’s life.
Jay Z’s Son
Having illegitimate children is practically a rite of passage in the lives of male MC’s, we could name a couple of them who have fathered children from women other than their wives; there’s Lil Wayne (and his harem), Snoop Dogg, Bow Wow, P Diddy, Rick Ross, Pitbull… this list could go on and on, but’s that’s beside our point.
Jay Z may not have the most spot-on character, in fact his character assassination was actually courtesy of Queen B in her most recent album, Lemonade, and it dates back slightly further to 2014, when Solange tested her fighting skills on him in an elevator and Queen B gave us that story about how ‘sometimes shit go down when it’s a billion dollars on an elevator’.
So we take everything he says with a pinch of salt. On to the topic at hand, there’s no doubt that you are all familiar with the popular Fox musical drama TV series, Empire, and our favorite feuding brothers Andre (Trai Byers), Jamal (Jussie Smollett), and Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray).
Though the youngest Lyon bares a distant resemblance to the hip hop mogul, it was quite a shocker when speculations arose that Bryshere was indeed Jay Z’s son. There’s even a story to back up the claim, you’ll want to grab your popcorn for this one, it sounds just like a movie.
Like every other ghetto story, it all started ‘back in the day’, Jay Z was a lowly drug pusher, trying to sell drugs to get give his music career a boost and “Donut” Shannon Bryshere was his ride or die. In an unfortunate twist of events, Jay almost got busted with drugs, so naturally Donut took the fall to save him.
Even though she was serving time for him, Jay distanced himself from his former lady love but little did he know she was carrying their love child. That child grew up to have musical prowess, just like his daddy and is now one of the lead stars on the show, Empire.
In some even more shocking news, it was alleged that Jay released this statement, ‘Yea that’s Blue Ivy’s big brother can’t you tell that’s my genes that gave him his skills. I’m proud of my son I might sign him to Roc Nation if it makes sense.’ This is obviously some fan fiction, haha guys, we are all laughing.
Well while we can all laugh off the Bryshere story, it’s impossible to laugh about the next one. Since 2014, the rapper has been tied up in a legal battle with a 21 year old claiming to be his son. Rymir Satterthwaite, an aspiring rapper (shocking), sued Jay for avoiding a DNA test.
The rapper was allegedly involved with Rymir’s mother in the 1990’s and he has been doing everything in his power to cover it up, according to Radar, in 2010, a judge dismissed a similar case in which Satterthwaite’s mother tried to force Jay Z to submit the paternity test after another man turned out not to be the young man’s father.
Could he really be Jay Z’s son? Only a paternity test can tell.
Jay Z’s Kids
Although there have been rumors out there, that the rapper wants another baby, so far he’s only got Blue Ivy Carter( or so he would like us to believe), and she was born on January 7, 2012. She was born a star and is definitely already living the life of a star. Thanks to her parents, she’s already a mini Instagram model.
The starlet in the making, accompanies her parents to social events like, the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards in New York, NY on August 28, 2016 and the 2016 CFDA Fashion Awards, New York on June, 6 2016. She’s truly blessed, we haven’t even attended such A-list events and we are way older than 4.

Jay and Beyonce have a joint net worth of $1 billion, so we expect only great things from their house. The couple once rented the Sandcastle mansion in Bridgehampton, New York, for a month and it cost them a whopping $400, 000. In case you are wondering if they got their money’s worth, here’s what the house had to offer.
The house itself sits on over, 11.5 acres of land and it features, 12-bedrooms, 12-bathroom, a 60-foot heated pool with an underwater sound system, a two-lane bowling alley, a gym and spa. For $400,000 a month you bet there’s more, it has tennis courts, a luxury cinema room and on top of that there is a skateboarding half-pipe, rock climbing wall and a special performance area with a stage.
Since the couple vacated the premises last year, the house is once again on the market, so check it out if you have $1 million lying around. The couple are not in a rush to buy a house yet, but they are in the market for one, they allegedly almost splurged $150 million on a home in Homby Hills.
It’s not clear if the deal is sealed yet, meanwhile they are renting again. This is not your average condo guys, it’s a 16,000 square foot mansion that goes for $150,000/month , the house features, seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, an infinity pool with a waterfall, and so much more. We have to hand it to the Carter’s, they sure know how to live in style.
