The basketball star was born Jayson Christopher Tatum on March 3, 1998, in St. Louis, Missouri. He was raised as a single child by his mother, Brandy Cole, but he now has a younger brother, Jaycob Tatum, and a sister, Kayden.
For his education, the St. Louis-born star attended the Chaminade College Preparatory School before proceeding to Duke University. In both his high school days and in college, he has been a very significant player.
Looking at his career, he began very early and by the time he was through with high school, he won almost all he could and ended as a five-star recruit. After he moved to college, it took him only a season to make the NBA draft. During the single-season, he helped the Duke Blue Devils to win the ACC Tournament Championship.
