Born as Jeffrey Jampol in Los Angeles, California. He came into the world on the 16th of September 1959. While information about his mother is unknown, Richard Jampol a realtor and architect is his father. It’s is unclear if Jeffery grew up with his father because he described his childhood as very lonely without any male peers or figure around him.
According to him, he began listening to rock and roll music when he was age 6/7 and the sound and lyrics really resonated with him. He fell in love with music at that tender age and there was no turning back for him.
Jeff went to ‘The School of Hard Knocks’ and proceeded to the Hutchins School of Liberal Studies at Sonoma State University, Rohnert Park, CA, graduating with a degree in Media Studies.
