It was on February 5, 1989, that the actor was born Jeremy Robert Myron Sumpter as a twin with Jessica Sumpter in Monterey California. His family soon moved to his mother’s hometown of Mount Sterling, Kentucky when he was only 10 months old and it was here that the actor and his siblings were raised.
When he was six years old, his parents noting his artistic inclination, enrolled him in the state’s “Gifted Arts” program. His talent was so unique that he was the youngest participant in the highly prestigious and coveted program.
His family moved again to a town called Lexington where he ventured into modeling. He walked the runway for different local designers and gradually became popular. At the tender age of 11, Jeremy got into the International Modeling Association. He first modeled at Kentucky and in 2000, he won the prestigious award of the Pre-Teen Male Model of the year. It was at this point that he felt the need for a personal manager and he signed Mark Robert for the work. The whole family later relocated to Los Angeles, California to afford him better opportunities. Before too long, Jeremy started his acting career properly.

The opportunity was a dream come true for the young Jeremy Sumpter as he got the opportunity to work with PJ Hogan one of the big wigs in the movie industry. For his stunts in the film, he brought himself to train for as much as 5 hours each day. His training included weight lifting and gymnastics. His effort paid off with a successful movie that earned him a Saturn Award as well as a Young Artist Award.
He got a Young Artist nomination for the film Cyber Seduction: His Secret Life in which he took the role of a porn-addicted teen in 2006. Family Life
Jeremy Sumpter is one of the twin children of Gary and Sandy Sumpter. His twin with whom he shares two other siblings, Travis and Jennifer, is Jessica Sumpter. Just like her brother, Jessica also has a career as an actress, although she has not appeared in many movies.
Jeremy’s father (Gary Sumpter) makes films on a part-time basis. In his short film “The Binge” Jeremy supported his father by working as a cinematographer.
Still not married, he has dated a number of women in the past. He was in a relationship with Rachel Hurd-Wood from 2003 to 2005 and then from 2007 to 2009, he was linked to Alyssa Tabit. In 2010, he began dating Lauren Pacheco II whom he engaged in 2016. However, only a few months later, the engagement was ended. Jeremy took to his social media to announce that they are no longer together but did not state any reason as to why they ended the engagement.
For now, it is not known if he is dating anyone.
