Being the daughter of retired professional tennis players who made waves in their glory days might as well mean you would follow in their path but in the case of Jessica Korda, she favored golfing.
Her father, Petr Korda, and mother Regina Rajchrtová were both golf players in their younger years with her father taking the title of a grand slam champion; he won the 1998 Australian Open crown. Jessica also has a younger brother, Sebastian, who took the title at the 2018 Australian Open in the boys’ division.

At the beginning of the 2012 season, Korda scooped her first win as a professional. The victory came in the wake of the Women’s Australian Open at Royal Melbourne, she secured her win on the second hole of a six-person playoff.
