The TV star was born Joey Greco on the 29th day of February 1972. He was born into a middle-class American family in Long Island, New York. Joey is a very private person and has not shared much information regarding his childhood days, parents, and family. He is of American nationality and belongs to a white ethnic background.

As a child, Joey had a knack for fitness training and he nurtured the dream of becoming a pro fitness trainer someday. Soon after he completed his high school education, the actor went on to attend Evangel University where he acquired a degree in psychology. During his college days, he did different kinds of odd jobs including working as a bartender in order to support himself through school.

After his graduation, he proceeded to grab a master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech University. Soon after he left school, Joey first began his career as a counselor in 1993, and later on, he realized his childhood dreams of becoming a fitness trainer. He made his first film appearance in 1998 when he played the role of a party guest in the film, Finding North. After that, he went to play the role of Tony in the 2003 film, The Bottom Line. Two years later, he featured as Garry Walker in Devon’s Ghost: The Legend of The Bloody Boy. His other film roles include Detective Williams in Serum (2006), Loomis in Mad Bad (2007), and Patrick McMahon in The Locker (2009). Other areas are The Landlord in The House That Drips Blood on Alex (2010), and Charlie: A Toy Story, (2013), etc.

Additionally, Greco has graced other TV shows such as Unhitched (2007), The Jay Leno Show (2009), and Hot Package (2015).

While filming for an episode of the Cheaters in 2003, Joey was allegedly stabbed on camera by a cheating boyfriend. This happened after he and his crew boarded the boat of the alleged boyfriend cheating on his partner. However, a few days after the incident, while investigations were ongoing, the man’s girlfriend, revealed the incident was all staged. Her revelation stirred lots of controversy among the fans of the show and when the media asked about the incident, Joey Greco declined to answer any questions about incident. Apparently, no arrests were made and until now, no one knows whether it was staged or real.
