The TV star was born Joey Greco on the 29th day of February 1972. He was born into a middle-class American family in Long Island, New York. Joey is a very private person and has not shared much information regarding his childhood days, parents, and family. He is of American nationality and belongs to a white ethnic background.
As a child, Joey had a knack for fitness training and he nurtured the dream of becoming a pro fitness trainer someday. Soon after he completed his high school education, the actor went on to attend Evangel University where he acquired a degree in psychology. After his graduation, he proceeded to grab a master’s degree in counseling from Louisiana Tech University. While filming for an episode of the Cheaters in 2003, Joey was allegedly stabbed on camera by a cheating boyfriend. This happened after he and his crew boarded the boat of the alleged boyfriend cheating on his partner. However, a few days after the incident, while investigations were ongoing, the man’s girlfriend, revealed the incident was all staged. Her revelation stirred lots of controversy among the fans of the show and when the media asked about the incident, Joey Greco declined to answer any questions about incident. Apparently, no arrests were made and until now, no one knows whether it was staged or real.
