As a result of that, he had to get himself drunk to get the required boldness to talk to her.
After getting himself drunk, he finally summoned the courage and kick-started a conversation with her. After they’ve conversed for a long time, he wrote his number on a piece of paper and slipped it to her before taking his leave. Over time, they got emotionally attached to each other and then started dating. They dated for two years until the 2nd of August 2003 when the couple tied the knot.
It is important to note that this isn’t Grohl’s first marriage; he was once married to Jennifer Youngblood. Their union officially kicked off in 1994 and crashed in 1997.
The Jordyn-Dave marriage was first blessed with a daughter (Violet Maye) in 2006. In 2009, they had their second daughter and named her Harper Willow. The birth of their third child, another daughter they named Ophelia Saint came on the 8th of August 2014. Saint’s birth was very significant for the couple given the fact that she was birthed 6 days after their 11th wedding anniversary. The couple and their three beautiful daughters live happily together as a family in Los Angeles.
