Hollywood star Josh Brener was born Joshua Max Brener on October 1, 1984, in Houston, Texas. He was born to Sharon and Daniel Brener who raised him in a Jewish household. Though there’s little information about his early education, the actor started acting while in sixth grade as a result of an injury that prevented him from playing baseball. His efforts won him a Tommy Tune Award which is usually given to Houston-area high schools and their students. His leading role in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum got him the award in 2003.

After his high school education, Brener went on to Harvard University where he was the president of the Hasty Pudding Theatricals. He graduated from Harvard in 2007. He also studied acting at the American Repertory Theatre and teaches and coaches at Stan Kirsch Studios in Hollywood.

For a man, Brener is not quite tall but at the same time, he’s not short. He stands at 5′ 5½” tall.

His Career

Josh Brener has been active in the entertainment field since 2009 to date. His first appearance was in the short film The Condom Killer in 2009 which he followed up with his role in The Guy Who Cured Cancer, Sofia & Sam and Song in a Convenience Store. In 2012, he appeared in one of his popular roles as Zack Miller in the television series Glory Daze. Prior to that, he played the role of Jewellery Store Clerk in Glee, a role which we never got to see as the scenes he appeared in were all deleted.
