Julie McCullough is a prominent American actress, model, as well as stand-up comedian who rose to prominence shortly after she began her modeling career.

Her successful career in modeling has seen her appear on Playboy magazine in four issues which are: The Playmate of the Month (February 1986), a post-Growing Pains compilation of her first three shots in addition to extra pictures (October 1989), on the front and as a member of a “Girls of Texas” pictorial (February 1985), and on the cover and as a member of a “Farmer’s Daughters” pictorial (September 1986).

Julie Michelle McCullough was born on January 31, 1965, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She reportedly got her name Julie from “Oh Julie”, which is one of the top songs of the 1950s. She has an older brother known as Joey McCullough. Her parents got divorced when she was four years old, leading to her mother, Nancy’s second marriage to Herman Paynter, one year later.

Although the model was born and raised in Honolulu, she also spent some of her early years in places like Florida, Missouri, North Carolina, West Virginia, Nevada, Louisiana, Texas, Nevada, Italy, California, as well as Canada.

As a result of her constant movement from one city to another, Julie ended attending two high schools. The first high school she attended is located in Poplar Bluff, Missouri while the second is situated in Allen, Texas.

As an actress, she has featured in a good number of films and television series, including The Golden Girls, Big Bad Mama II (a 1987 film), Max Headroom, Superboy, The Blob, Robin’s Hoods, Beverly Hills, Drexell’s Class, 90210, Jake, Harry, and the Hendersons, The Girls Next Door, May the Horse Be With You, Under the Covers, and the Fatman.  

Stuffed to the brim, she also banks as a stand-up comedian and has performed at high-profile functions like the Laugh Factory, the Palms Hotel, and Casino and Hollywood Improv.

As it is with most multifaceted individuals, Julie is a voice actress. She is believed to have voiced the tutorial guide in the video game “Playboy: The Mansion”, which was released in 2004.
