Kaylyn Slevin was born on December 28, 2000, in Chicago, Illinois. When she was just a little girl, about 4 years old, her parents began taking her out to theater shows and it wasn’t long before young Kaylyn developed a passion for performing. When she got home, she’d force her parents to get in character and perform with her.
Born a natural dancer, Kaylyn’s parents enrolled her in a dancing school at the age of 4. During the same time, she also began training as a gymnast. Kaylyn grew up with the ambition of wanting to be just like the stars she watched at theater shows and her parents were hundred percent supportive of her choice. She was also enrolled in acting classes.
To better her chances at an entertainment career, Kaylyn and her parents relocated to California. By age 9, Kaylyn was already walking the runway after being signed by FORD Models. When Teeki Swimwear was launching a line of kids’ swimwear in LA, Kaylyn was brought to open and close the show.
Kaylyn’s dancing skills caught the attention of MSA Dance Agency which brought her on to their Agency as one of their clients. Up next, she signed with Osbrink Agency for TV shows, films, and commercials.
Her first film work to be released was the TV film, The Incybers in 2010. The same year, she also appeared in the short film, The Beast.
In 2011, she appeared in D.I.N.K.s (Double Income, No Kids), and Bones. However, her most notable gig that year was an appearance in three episodes of the web series Video Game Reunion. Her other 2011 works included TV shows, Shake It Up, Breaking In and the TV film, My Freakin’ Family. Kaylyn appeared in a 2012 episode of Breaking In. Her first theatrical film was Ass Backwards, however, her role was only a small one.
When Kaylyn opened her Instagram, she noticed that her account quickly garnered followers, something she credits to her fame from commercials.
Her first ever big pageant was the Miss California Teen USA 2016. She made it to the Top 20. She returned to the competition in 2017 and emerged as the 1st runner-up. Kalyn told Daily Shuffle that part of her bucket list is to win the Miss California Teen USA crown. However, if she never gets to wear the crown, the first runner-up crown, and her Miss Malibu Teen crown would serve as worthy consolations.
Kaylyn Slevin continues to remain active in the entertainment industry. In 2016, she became one of the cast members of Awesomeness TV’s reality TV show LA Story: The New Class. Kaylyn Slevin’s parents are Kristyn and William Slevin. As already detailed in her biography above, her parents have contributed a great deal to who she is today. Slevin appears to have been born with a silver spoon, however, the details of her parent’s occupation are unclear to the media. One Instagram user who claimed to be close to her posted a comment on one of Slevin’s Instagram posts, revealing that her dad owned an automobile dealership. If there is any truth in that, then it explains the luxury cars that Slevin often flaunts on her gram.
