Husband, Kids & Family Life of Jim Caviezel’s Wife

Jim Caviezel was born on September 26, 1968, in Mount Vernon, Washington, United States. He was raised along with his four siblings, a younger brother and three sisters, in Conway, Washington. He is an actor who is best known for playing Jesus Christ in The Passion of the Christ (2004). His net worth is estimated to be $25 million.

He met Kerri Browitt in 1993 on a blind date arranged by his own sister, Amy. While they did not fall in love instantly, they went on subsequent dates and three years later, on July 20, 1996, the duo exchanged their marital vows in front of family and friends. Their wedding was held at the Immaculate Conception Church in Roslynn, Washington. Kerri and Jim are both devout Catholics.

Kerri Browitt and Jim Caviezel have three kids, Bo (b. December 12, 1999), Lyn Elizabeth “LeLe” (b. September 25, 2001), and David (b. 2010). Interestingly, none of the kids is their biological child, they were all adopted from China; all the kids had cancer but that did not deter the couple.

When they adopted their daughter, Lyn, they were offered a healthy newborn girl but opted for the five-year-old Lyn who had a brain tumor. Speaking on their decision to adopt her, the couple stated that instead of going for healthy children, they reasoned that those would definitely find a good home but it is very unlikely that a sick child would.

Just like Lyn, Bo was also born with a brain tumor while David was diagnosed with a high-stage sarcoma on his leg. The tumors, however, turned out to be benign and has since been successfully removed. Also, after numerous visits to the hospital, their son David had his leg saved and is now living happily with his family. Jim describes his wife as beauty and kindness personified and the family of five share a very special bonding.
