Kevin was born on the 19th of August 1965 to Paul Dillon and Mary Ellen Dillon in New Rochelle, New York. His dad is a portrait painter and a golf coach at Fordham University while his mum Mary was a homemaker.
He attended Mamaroneck High School, New York, and later the School of Visual Arts, New York. His talent was first noticed by a movie agent at his older brother Matt’s 1982 film Tex Party. He made his debut in 1983, playing the character Arnold Norberry in the movie No Big Deal. Kevin followed that up with fine performances in Platoon where he played a psychopathic soldier called Bunny and also in Heaven Help Us wherein he portrayed the role of a controlling teenager.
Kevin Dillon also appeared in Delta Force and as well featured in the documentary film Dear America – Letter’s Home from Vietnam as Jack. You will find him in Remote Control playing the role of Cosmo.
At the turn of the century, Kevin featured in the CBS Television series That’s Life as Paul DeLucca and also in 24 as Lonnie McRae. His biggest work in terms of commercial value and widespread recognition is the HBO Television hit comedy series titled Entourage, where he played the Johnny ‘Drama’ Chase character. Kevin Dillon married model Jane Stuart in a lavish ceremony in Las Vegas on the 21st of April 2006 at the peak of the popularity of the HBO hit comedy series, Entourage. His best man was fellow Entourage star, Jerry Ferrara. His wife Jane was walked down the aisle by another Entourage castmate, Kevin Connolly. The couple welcomed their daughter Ava in May 2006 in Los Angeles.
In July 2016, Jane filed for divorce and the pair were in court for a while in a bid to get Kevin to cough out child support and spousal support. According to Jane, Kevin had been less than honest with his earnings all through their marriage. She even accused him of under-reporting his income in court just to ensure his support payments were as low as possible. She disputed his declared earnings claiming that he raked in more than $16 million for his role in Entourage.
Another bone of contention was the date of separation as Kevin insisted that when they separated was in October 2008 while Jane maintained they parted in May 2016. She believes that he preferred to have the date backdated so that he would avoid his financial responsibilities.
They finally agreed to a settlement without going to trial and pledged to raise their daughter together. Kevin pays $3,174 monthly for child support and Jane gets $7,214 monthly as spousal support.
Kevin Dillon’s parents are Paul Dillon and Mary Ellen Dillon. He has four brothers – Brian Dillon, Matt Dillon, Paul Dillon, and Timothy Dillon. His older brother Matt is an actor who has starred in movies such as Wild Things, To Die For, There’s Something About Mary, Beautiful Girls, In & Out, amongst others.
