Super talented Record producer cum Singer Keyshia Cole has made a name for herself with songs like Just Like You and Heaven Sent. She started singing before she was a teenager. Named Keyshia Myesha Cole at birth on October 15, 1981, in Oakland, California, the stellar singer was brought up by her family friends, Leon and Yvonne Cole who gave her Cole as her last name. She was adopted by the family after her mother who suffered from drug addiction problems couldn’t help but give her up.
As a young girl growing up, Cole started singing after meeting MC Hammer and Tupac Shakur who was supposed to help her start her music career before his life was cut short.
After she clocked 18, she moved to Los Angeles where she got to release her first album The Way It Is in 2005. Only 17 weeks down the line, it was certified gold and then Platinum eight weeks after that. Her next album Just Like You (2007) also recorded massive sales, while the next A Different Me got the nomination for Best Contemporary R&B at the 2008 Grammys.
Her subsequent albums are Calling All Hearts (2010) and Point of No Return (2014). She has started work on her seventh album, 11:11 Reset from which she has already released some singles.
With a very interesting music career, the singer has got herself a number of nominations including the Grammys as well as awards such as the Vibe Award, ASCAP, BMI Urban Award, Early Entertainment Awards, and Mp3 Music Awards.

She never got to meet her father until 2016 when a paternity test confirmed that Virgil Hunter was her father. Before finding out who her father was, the Heaven Sent singer believed that she was biracial and her father was an Italian based on what her mother had told by. In fact, because of how strongly she believed she was biracial, she said she was not comfortable performing at the Black Girls Rock in 2012.
As regards her relationships, Keyshia Cole has gone out with a good number of men in the past. In 2009, she started dating former NBA star, Daniel Gibson. The two got engaged less than a year later in 2010 and they got married in 2011.
Unfortunately for the I Just Want It To Be Over singer, the marriage was not one to last forever as they both walked their separate ways in 2014. It was, however, until 2017 that their divorce was finalized.
Daniel Gibson and Keyshia Cole have a son together, Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. who was born in 2010 before his parents got married. The singer recently announced via her Instagram that she is pregnant with her second child. Even though she has not announced who the father of her unborn child is, she has been in a relationship with Niko Khale who is 14 years younger than she is.
